A note from Ismail
It’s not just about doing the work. It’s about how you make progress.
I’m a founder, and for a long time my biggest problem wasn’t ideas or effort. It was consistency. I’d make a plan, start strong, then miss a day, procrastinate, and quietly stop sticking to it. A few weeks later I’d start again. Same plan, same problem.
HeroMode began as something I built for myself: a way to change a little every day, and to actually see whether I was improving.
Small moves, months later
What I’ve learned is that progress rarely comes from one big day. It comes from small moves, even one percent or half a percent, repeated. You don’t see the change today. You don’t see it tomorrow. But a few months later you look back and you’re different: more consistent, finishing what you start, whether that’s a startup or anything else that matters to you.
That’s the problem I’m building HeroMode to solve. Not perfect streaks. Just the next small step, and a comeback mission when you miss one.
What HeroMode believes
- You don’t have a discipline problem. You have a restart problem.
- Missing a day isn’t failure. Not returning is.
- Proof is private by default. Your effort is for you, not for an audience.
- No fake scarcity. The founding-cohort counter shows real signups, starting from zero.
Where we are today
HeroMode is being built in public, starting with the 14-Day Founder Comeback: a free, application-only founding cohort. Start dates are confirmed to applicants first, and only when they are real. Read how it works, or start with the comeback guides.
